It's hard to believe that we're almost towards the end of the year again...where did the time go?  As we are thinking about finishing up the year, we just wanted to touch base about neckerchiefs and the upcoming end of year potluck.  From year to year, our pack collects neckerchiefs from each Scout to be distributed to the Scouts in the den below them as a symbol of the continuation of Scouting through the ranks.  If the pack provided your neckerchief this year, please plan to turn in your neckerchief at one of the next two den meetings (Webelos, you can keep yours since you have the same neckerchief for another year).  Also, our end of year potluck is coming up on May 23rd at the Bond Park Kiwanis Shelter from 6-7:30 pm.  The whole family is invited!  Please sign-up on the website so we know how many people to plan food for.  There is also a sign-up genius link on the same event; please sign-up to bring an item to share at the potluck.  Thanks so much!

Chopped?  What?  Just like the TV show, dens will  be provided a basket of "mystery items" with which they will be challenged to create a meal in 30 minutes that will dazzle the judges.  Come join us at our next pack meeting to cheer your favorite team (den) on!

While our spring camping trip was a bit rainy and a bit cool, all of the Scouts and their families perservered.  We were able to get in a nice hike, learn some STEM from an Eagle Scout, brush up on our knots, and perfect our compass work.  Overall, it was a success!  Missed this one?  Join us for our fall camping trip in October!

We had a great Pack hike at Horton's Grove Nature Preserve today.  A few inches of snow was left on the ground in the forest but the temperatures were in the 50s and the sky was blue.  Great day for a hike and the Tiger and Wolf Dens led the way with enthusiasm and good cheer.  Way to go Scouts!
